Matured for 15 months in French oak hogsheads. Opaque dark red black colour with a very dark crimson red hue. The nose opens with pronounced dark raspberry top notes followed by dark chocolate, vanillin oak and light spice end notes. Rich and joosy with a round voluptuous mouthfeel the palate delivers a concentrated flavour profile of dark raspberries, black cherries and dark chocolate over a spicy vanillin oak background. Velvet smooth tannins. Long spicy black raspberry, liquorice, dark chocolate and vanillin oak aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
